Ufos Shooting Lasers

An amazing photo of what appears to be a UFO or group of UFOs shooting lasers or some type of plasma at a commercial airplane . A passenger managed to photograph it as well as capture short video of the event. According to the witness the event occurred during a flight from the UK to the island of Cyprus.

According to the photographer approximately 100 people on the plane saw the objects and started to panic, the captain then asked everyone to please fasten their seatbelts and to stay calm. Eventually, the objects flew away without causing apparent damage at a speed much greater than the airplane. Hopefully the alleged video will be released to the public.

Report from MUFON:

2-15-12 FLIGHT FROM ENGLAND TO CYPRUS

We where on a flight from the UK to the Island of Cyprus. The event happened more then half way through the flight and we took pictures and videos. I was filming the view from the plane when I heard people talk about the object behind me. I had no idea what it could have been when I first saw it. The object flew fast next to the plane then slowed its speed to match the plane. Two beams emerged from the object that seemed to be scanning the plane (evident in picture) then the object suddenly changed direction in a very fast speed.

Unidentified submerged objects (USOs) are the underwater equivalent of UFOs and can be considered a subset of the UFO category, not a category in itself.

These objects are capable of extreme feats, both above and under the water, and have been reported by people such as Alexander The Great, King George V of England and Christopher Columbus, some even believing this phenomenon to go as far back as ancient Egypt.

It has been estimated that an unidentified submerged object (USO) can travel between 150 knots to 500 knots and can submerge to an unimaginable 20,000 feet, according to sonar recordings. By contrast, nuclear powered U.S. submarines can deliver speeds exceeding 25 knots and can submerge to a depth greater than 800 feet.

Large and super thick ice sheets do not seem to represent an obstacle to unidentified submerged objects as they have been observed coming through these bodies of ice like as if they were not even there. Subsequent examination of the large holes in the ice revealed that the contour of the holes was smooth and clean, definitely not caused by natural events or sudden impact. Could it be that these objects possess some form of capability of melting ice instantly from transit speed?

Unidentified submerged objects are by far the most reliably documented events among all types of UFO sightings, as they are invariably tracked and recorded on the most sophisticated radar and sonar equipment deployed by military institutions around the globe.

Some sightings of unidentified submerged objects :

* June 18, 1845 : the Malta Times reported that the brigantine Victoria’s crew saw three illuminated objects fly up from the sea and were visible for ten minutes.

* February 10, 1951: U.S. Navy Commander Graham Bethune and his crew were on their way from Iceland to Newfoundland when they spotted an UFO emerging from the water which, upon approach, turned into an enormous circle of white lights.

* 1963: the sonar of an U.S. Navy submarine on duty off of the coast of Puerto Rico picked up an object traveling at 150 knots at 20,000 feet below and tracked it for four days.

Crews from U.S. Navy battle groups have also had more than their share of unidentified submerged objects sightings during their deployment :

* 11,001 crew members of the U.S.S. Monrovia APA-31 witnessed a long, oval shaped object easily match the ship’s speed and course maneuvers for 90 minutes before disappearing.

* Lt. Commander M.C. Davies spotted an object on the ship’s radar that stayed in position for about five minutes then sped off at a speed that he estimated to be over a thousand miles per hour.

* A large blue glow with an oval shape approached the stern side of the U.S.S. Ponce, its width and length estimated to be similar to the length of the ship itself.

Of course, the 1967 Shag Harbour, Nove Scotia incident is the most often cited of unidentified submerged objects events. An UFO reportedly crashed into the harbour and was subsequently tracked by the navies of two countries, the U.S. and Canada, along with NORAD, with the Canadian Forces Headquarters and the Canadian Maritime Command leading the initial investigation. An advanced U.S. radar facility in the area followed the travels of the crashed UFO and detected a second unidentified submerged object approaching the first one, ostensibly coming to the rescue of its brethren.

Allegedly, a Dutch national was contacted in 1967 by aliens who claimed that they come from a planet called Iarga, located some 11 light years away and that their mission was human observation from underwater. He was even allowed to visit their unidentified submerged objects. Perhaps one day, they will give us a glimpse into the utterly unknown world called the deep seas.

UFO Hunters

UFO Hunters

UFO hunters share the common objective of personally witnessing an UFO event, and just watching pictures or videos of possible UFOs taken by others does not raise their adrenaline levels.

However, UFO hunters need to thoroughly dedicate themselves to this pursuit, as UFO hunting can become quite expensive and time consuming. There are requirements to be met and violation will most likely shorten the UFO hunting career.

The first step is extensive research into all facets related to the subject, such as meteorology, reading star maps, or committing constellations and planets to memory, and familiarity with all aircraft types is also imperative. A sound financial foundation is a prerequisite to undertaking UFO hunting, since the equipment required to perform the task can be economically draining. Emotional issues also cannot be ignored as long hours are the norm and relationships can easily be strained. More often than not, the comforts of home will furthermore have to be forgotten, and outdoors types are usually more suitable for this endeavor.

Honing observation skills is a step that needs to be undertaken by all UFO hunters, a common mistake being to mistake a star for an UFO. To that purpose, it has been recommended that training as a weather spotter will be highly useful, as is joining the Civil Air Patrol, as you will learn about abnormal weather phenomena and the proper identification of configuration of various types of aircraft, along with improving observation skills.

Some Recommended equipment:

* Telescope* Binoculars * Video Camera * Maps * Star charts * Night vision equipment * Thermal imaging machines * Recording equipment

UFO hunters also take star gazing very seriously, as a high proportion of UFO sightings tend to occur after sunset. Of course, getting into the habit of looking up into the sky periodically during the day will help spot daytime occurrences.

Two main types of UFO sightings:

* Waves: small number of UFOs appearing over an extended period of time, sometimes lasting over several months. Prior to a wave, certain indicators will help determine future UFO activity.

* Flaps: large numbers of UFOs visible in a short period of time. This is the more exciting type of event as various sized and shaped UFOs can congregate into one area and formations are usually observed.

Indicators of UFO activity:

* Fast and unidentifiable objects moving across the sky * Flashing lights, either stationary or moving slowly, most commonly seen at high altitudes * Probing objects are very bright lights that can flare up then face down before disappearing over a short distance * Strobing objects can move at high rates of speed while lights are strobing constantly, sometimes at different rates

UFO hunters are very much aware that UFOs can appear at any given moment in time and at any location, therefore it becomes critical to increase the chances of successfully sighting UFOs by relocating to what are considered flap areas that can include the following areas:

* Nevada Highway 375, in the proximity of Rachel, Nevada * Sedona, Arizona * Midway, New Mexico, where the Roswell Rods were first observed * Marfa, Texas, famous for its Marfa Lights that have been reported for almost a century

Patience and persistence are definitely virtues for UFO hunters as UFOs never announce themselves prior to demonstration of their performance. Safety is paramount when witnessing an actual UFO sighting, as is staying calm to accurately record the event in its aftermath.

UFO activity tends to peak during certain time periods such as the 1950s, the 1970s and finally the 1990s. The 2010s seem to be destined to become a busy decade for UFO hunters. Will you be the one that proves ufos are real?

Are UFOs Real

Are UFOs Real

Are UFOs Real

Are UFOs Real

The sometimes vitriolic debate surrounding the topic of Are UFOs real will probably never end until definite evidence is presented to support or refute the question. The term Unidentified Flying Objects (UFOs) is self-explanatory, and strictly from the point of view of the meaning of the term, of course UFOs are real.

It would definitely stretch the imagination that none of us has ever encountered this phenomenon, where we cannot simply identify the flying object. That does not necessarily mean that UFOs come from extraterrestrial sources. It has been estimated that 90% to 95% of UFO sightings can be scientifically explained. However, there is the remaining 5% to 10% that triggers our vivid imagination.

Periodically, radars have managed to track UFOs and have found them to have the capability of performing maneuvers that can defy scientific knowledge (90 degree turns & instant elevation or deceleration), with such extreme disturbance and speed that the occupants of the UFO should have been killed instantly. At other times, visual sightings cannot be tracked by radar, leading to the possibility that some UFOs may possess far greater stealth technology than is presently possible.

In just the past few years, government officials and generally considered reliable individuals have stepped forward and emphatically gave an answer to the question of: Are UFOs real?

* Retired Colonel John Alexander spent twenty five years of his career assessing top government levels to ascertain the people responsible for UFO information and to see if there has ever been a government cover-up. His conclusion: There is no cover up since UFO information had already been disseminated throughout the years, starting initially with President Truman. Russian President Gorbachev himself declared that he had several of his generals attempt to convince him that UFOs are real. Colonel Alexander’s own assessment: UFOS are real, without any doubt or qualifications.

* The British government released 8,000 pages of formerly classified documents from its UFO Project and revealed that they cannot rule out the possibility of extraterrestrial existence.

* Former Canadian Defense Secretary Paul Hellyer publicly announced in 2005 that UFOs are as real as planes flying overhead.

* Lt. Colonel Phillip Corso claimed that his work on back engineering alien spacecraft parts recovered from the Roswell crash led to the creation of various high tech developments in the last 50 years.

Are UFOs real? The remarkably accurate Long Count calendar of the ancient Mayan civilization marks December 21 of 2012 as the end of a 5,126 year era. Apocalypse or will this be the day that aliens will formally introduce themselves and forever change the world as we know it?

Unidentified Flying Objects

Unidentified Flying Objects

UFO stands for unidentified flying object. A UFO is an object that is sighted in the sky that appears to be abnormal, unusual and cannot be identified as a recognizable object by the observer.

A UFO can be anything that is readily unidentifiable. UFOs are objects that tend to have characteristic and qualities that are unfamiliar and remarkable. They may come in unusual shapes and possess incredible speed, bright light and are able move with agility. Many objects reported as UFOs in the first instance turn out to be identifiable objects, but there are reported sightings of UFOs that are indeed objects that cannot be identified.

The actual term ‘UFO’ is quite new and was first used in 1952 to describe these objects sighted in the sky. Often they have been termed ‘flying saucers’ or ‘flying disks’, due to the appearance of some sighted UFOS,  and alien spacecraft, because of their qualities that make them appear not to be from Earth. Back in the late 19th century and early 20th century sightings of UFOs were reported as ‘mystery airships’, and during World War II the term ‘foo fighters’ was used to describe UFOs by American fighter pilots.

Each year, there are many UFO sightings. The first most publicized sighting of a UFO happened in the United States in 1947 and was reported by Kenneth Arnold, a private pilot. In fact, it was from this incident that the terms ‘flying saucer’ came to the fore to describe UFOs. Many of reported UFO sightings turned out to be mistaken and they turn out to be a man-made object or a natural phenomenon. They turn out to be aircraft, balloons, and different types of clouds, light phenomena like mirages, meteors, comets and planets viewed from afar in the sky. Some UFO sightings can also be the result of hoaxes.

However, there are a small yet still significant number of UFO sightings that have not been explained, and are indeed reports of Unidentified Flying Objects. There at about 5 to 20 per cent of sightings reported that are yet unexplained. Many reports of sightings are from trained observers including pilots and military personnel.  The number of UFO sightings has reportedly been on the ride during recent years, with about 500 sightings being reported each month.

UFOs are generally believed to be objects that are extra-terrestrial in origin. In other words, UFOs are said to be alien spacecraft.  This is because the objects that are sighted as UFOs display unconventional technological characteristics, including the object’s flying qualities and appearance, which neither belongs to a natural phenomenon or human invention. For this reason it is believed that UFOs are not objects from Earth, but rather, from outer space.

Apart from the extra-terrestrial hypothesis on UFOs, there have been other hypotheses including the inter-dimensional hypothesis which claims that UFOs are objects that have crossed over from other dimensions or a parallel universe. There is also the psychosocial hypothesis which accounts for UFO sightings as the result of misinterpretation due to popular culture influences. Another hypothesis is that UFOs are advanced or experimental military aircraft that possess the unique characteristics ascribed to such sightings.
